Mono Tilt 3.1
Mono Tilt 3.1
Mono Tilt introduces a playful element of surprise to geometric minimalism. Taking a fresh perspective on the traditional cube form, the design leans five degrees off-axis in two directions, both sideways and backwards, creating an intriguing visual illusion that challenges initial expectations. Despite its striking off-centre posture, the top remains completely level, seamlessly balancing dynamic form with everyday practicality.
Designed by Klaus Todt as part of Collection 42, Mono Tilt builds upon the adaptable foundation of the original Mono. Its precise joinery maintains clean lines and sharp structural integrity, anchoring the unexpected angle with solid material discipline. The subtle lean gives the piece a kinetic, expressive character that invites closer inspection from every angle in the room.
Mono Tilt provides a versatile sculptural element for character-filled interiors. Functioning as a side table, bedside table, step, art plinth, or silent butler, it offers a compelling way to introduce quiet intrigue and architectural character to a space, proving that subtle shifts can reframe how familiar forms are experienced.
