Mono 1
Mono explores how the purest geometric form can become an adaptable element within a space. Reduced to the essential proportions of a cube, the design takes a simple volume and reframes it as a versatile piece of furniture designed to respond to changing daily needs.
Defined by crisp lines and sharp joinery, Mono balances quiet geometric restraint with a strong sculptural presence. Depending on its current setting, its solid profile functions effortlessly as a side table, bedside table, art plinth, step, or silent butler. It transitions seamlessly into an impromptu seat when extra guests arrive, demonstrating how a singular, uncluttered form can offer endless practical utility.
Designed by Klaus Todt as part of Collection 42, Mono provides an expressive block to anchor interiors. Whether specified as a discreet functional accent or placed as a standalone object of craft, it introduces material character and architectural clarity while expanding the possibilities of everyday objects.
